Description
Palo Alto — Boquete, Panama, since 1912
I first tried Palo Alto years ago, and it’s stayed one of my go-to recommendations ever since — it’s the coffee I point people to when they want something genuinely easy to love, not just easy to describe.
It comes from the Tedman family’s farm in Boquete, where they’ve been growing Arabica since 1912. Four generations working the same hillside — that kind of consistency shows up in the cup. Smooth, medium body, with chocolate and caramel up front and a soft nutty finish. Works equally well hot or over ice, which makes it one of the more versatile bags in the shop.
If you’re new to Panamanian coffee and want a starting point that won’t overwhelm you, this is it.
