Choose by the cup you are looking for

For jasmine, citrus and a light, tea-like body: Auromar

Auromar Estate's washed Geisha comes from the Chiriquí highlands. Its recorded notes are jasmine, bright citrus and honey sweetness. This is the option to consider when those floral and citrus notes, rather than a full body, match your preference.

The product recommends Light Medium roast and pour-over brewing. Its starting recipe is 15 g coffee to 250 g water at 92–94 °C, with grind adjusted to taste.

For a natural-process Geisha from Santa Clara: Aguilar Peralta

The Aguilar Barroso family farm is in Santa Clara, Renacimiento District, Chiriquí, at 1,280–1,500 metres. Its Geisha is naturally processed and dried on African beds for about one month.

The catalogue recommends Light Medium roast but does not provide a separate lot-specific tasting profile, body rating or brewing recommendation. Choose it to explore this estate and process, rather than on the basis of an unverified flavour or intensity ranking.

For tropical fruit, dark chocolate and a full body: Don Pepe

Don Pepe Estate's natural Geisha comes from Volcancito, Boquete, at 1,500–2,000 metres on the slopes of Volcán Barú. The catalogue describes ripe tropical fruit, dark chocolate and florals, with a full, syrupy body.

Consider it if those flavours and a fuller mouthfeel are your priorities. Light Medium roast is recommended on the product page. No product-specific brewing method or intensity score is listed.

A non-Geisha comparison: Finca Santa Teresa Natural Catuai

This coffee is Catuai Arabica, not Geisha. It comes from Finca Santa Teresa in Chiriquí, at 1,400–1,800 metres, and uses natural processing. Its product description lists peppermint, mango, watermelon and cherry.

Consider it to compare a different Panama variety with the Geishas above. The catalogue does not specify its body, intensity or ideal brewing method.

Process, roast and intensity

Auromar is washed; Aguilar Peralta, Don Pepe and Santa Teresa are natural-process coffees. Don Pepe's description explains natural processing as drying the cherry around the bean. Processing alone is not a verified intensity rating, so this guide does not assign coffees a numerical strength or intensity score.

The three Geisha product pages recommend Light Medium roast to retain floral, citrus and tea-like characteristics, and explain that medium and darker roasts add body and chocolate while quieting florals. Santa Teresa offers Light Medium, Medium and Medium Dark options without a catalogue recommendation.
