Our Story

From Panama's estates to your cup

At Panama Coffee Gold Reserve, we believe exceptional coffee begins with a sense of place. Our story is rooted in Panama, where highland estates and careful cultivation give Geisha and other distinguished coffees their remarkable character.

The estates we work with

Every coffee we sell names where it comes from. Our Geisha lots come from Auromar, Don Pepe, Elarin, Velmora, Aguilar Peralta and Don Batista, all in the highlands of Chiriquí. Alongside them we carry everyday Panamanian coffees, including Finca Santa Teresa Catuai and the well-loved Boquete brands Café Durán and Café Palo Alto.

Each estate brings its own combination of soil, altitude, climate, variety and processing. These differences are the reason two coffees from the same country can taste entirely different in the cup.

Why Panama Geisha

Geisha is prized for its distinctive aromatic profile and clarity. In Panama, the variety has become closely associated with expressive floral character, bright fruit and a delicate, tea-like finish. We roast to let the character of each estate come through, not to cover it.

Roasted to order

We roast in small batches after you order and pack every bag with a one-way valve, so your coffee arrives fresh. New to Geisha? Start with our 125 g sampler bags and compare estates side by side.

Sourced with purpose. Chosen for character. Made to be savoured.
